PiercingMetal Thoughts: This is exciting news because I just love Godzilla and all things kaiju and have been a fan of such things since my beloved Grandmother used to bring me to see all of the Japanese monster movies at The Meserole Theater in Greenpoint and even on Times Square when the films would be playing there on a Saturday matinee. I also remember watching a lot of these films on a little black and white television in her kitchen but enough about me. Another reason this excites me is based on the growth of the event. When I attended this a couple of years ago, it was very, very small with perhaps a dozen or so vendors in a very confined space. A hectic schedule would find me missing the next one but I am happy to help laud the 2025 event and share its expansion news. Much like the recent Brooklyn Independent Comics Showcase, the Kaiju Brooklyn event can only get bigger and better as time marches on. It might not get Godzilla big, but hey its heading there just the same. Wrapping up I wonder what you all think about this news and if you will plan on attending. You can chime in down below in the comments section and hey please also let me know your very favorite Kaiju film. I’d love to learn more from you and also see if there are films that I might not have seen yet myself. That’s all I have on this one, see you next time.
