When I learned that the upcoming Black Veil Brides album would be a bit of a concept album I was very intrigued. I’ve been following them for a couple of years now and have been blown away by the rapid rise in popularity that they’ve showcased. This track, called “In The End” will be on the bands upcoming album entitled “Wretched and Divine: The Story Of The Wild Ones” and while we got the single back on Halloween we still have a few months of a wait for the full album. Here are some quick thoughts about the tune since I had access to it.
The song starts off with a resounding chorus before we have only singer Andy telling the story that is to be told. Given the title of the track I have to assume that this will close up the new recording in some fashion or lead us into its finale. Biersack does both talking and singing across the span of this one and I just loved the drive of the melody that it had. The chorus was rather catchy and after only a couple of listens I was singing along with it when I wasn’t playing a little air drums. There is a “big” live sound to this one and it will surely be a highlight of any of their concert shows. I should mention that while Andy is doing the clean vocals across the number there is a growling in the background which I will assume is either Ashley or Jake. I’m giving this single a high rank because I couldn’t get it out of my head at all once I had listened. I wasn’t trying to of course but it was sticking with me and I think that the bands fans will eat this up. When the full album streets in January I’ll do my best to review it quickly. See you then with more BVB notations unless another single comes to light before then.
