PiercingMetal Thoughts: I think it’s pretty damned cool to be closing out the variant covers with images that bring “The Walking Dead” to the myriad of titles that the company has coming out for the month because let’s face it, the show is one of the most popular things on television and has taken over a lot of geekdom and the convention circuit. If you don’t believe me, just look at events like the NY Comic Con and these “Walker Stalker” events that sell out in minutes and have a high price to get your photo or autograph of any of the stars. As a comic series, “The Walking Dead” has filled the wallet of the Image Comics company and that is also a good thing since it lets them continue to deliver some amazing stuff. Traditionally speaking, I am not a collector who purchases a ton of variant covers and I will keep this stand for sure with these titles. I have added the six that they showcased down below and if any more come to light before the month of October or during, I will be sure to edit them into this posting for you. So what do you think my friends? Is this a group of variants you are going to make some room for in your comic box? Let me know down in the comments section below. Now, watch your back, there be walkers out there.
