Fans of the ever-growing Marvel Universe of film and television will be happy to know that the Hulu streaming service will be offering up a live-action version of their Damon Helstrom character. Now most of us know him as The Son Of Satan but I guess doing a show with that name wouldn’t fly. Either way, the first trailer for this has been released so check it out.
The Premise: Daimon and Ana Helstrom, the children of a powerful serial killer, hunt the worst of humanity. (c/o Wiki).

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Having been a reader of not only the “Hellstorm” comic from I think the 90’s, I also have a complete run of the short-lived “Son Of Satan” series. I also enjoyed his participation in The Defenders (meaning the original team) and across numerous other appearances. That being said I am not sure what to make of this series since it seems so far left of center. They even refer to his sister Satana as “Ana”. This reminded me more of the “Constantine” show with maybe some “Kolchak The Night Stalker” thrown in for good measure. Two decent shows for sure, but will this work out? I’ll give it a chance since I am a Hulu subscriber as a part of my Disney+ plan but admit that I am not too sure. What do you readers think?
