So considering that we’ve already shared a few trailer posts and announced the premiere day of “Zack Snyder’s Justice League”, I will admit that I was a little bit surprised to find this “ZSJL” Trilogy Trailer being released almost a month later. By now the fans of these films know that Snyder is no longer involved in the still very uneven DC Extended Universe and that his “Man Of Steel” and “Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice” form a connected three film dynamic. This new trailer is a long one but its an interesting watch. I’ve embedded it for you below along with the premise, extended casting and some art. Take a look and know I will be back at the close to offer up additional opinion.

The Premise: Following the death of Superman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Batman and Wonder Woman recruit the Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg to form the Justice League and protect the world from Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons, who seek the three Mother Boxes.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: So as far as trailers go this one was on the interesting side since it fully connected scenes from “Man Of Steel” into those from “Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice”. Thinking back on both films I kinda liked “MOS” but had a number of issues with “BVS” as it felt like they were rushing to catch up to Marvel Studios “Avengers” with the rise of the “Justice League” and of course they were since that will make lots of $$$. Sadly, the theatrical cut of “Justice League” didn’t do that well and it was because the end result was far too many cooks with their hand on the spoon stirring the soup. These things are known already. So having seen this “ZSJL” film I can say that I thought it was only “okay” for me. They cut some scenes that were in the big screen release and they were ones I felt didn’t merit cutting. Then they added like an hour and a half and there is so much slow motion stuff it was off-putting. You’ll notice there aren’t any scenes from “ZSJL” in this trailer but that’s okay since I posted those already and the streaming of the film was about a month ago. My thoughts on this trilogy trailer are that it was released to remind people that all three films are a part of the same puzzle. Or to encourage you to search for and watch the other films on the streaming service if you are a subscriber. What do you folks think about this? Did you like the trailer? Did you see all the original films? Did you see this super-long “Zack Snyder’s Justice League”? Chime in down below in the comments section because I always like to hear from you out there. I hope that you are staying safe out there at the moment because its wild out there no matter what you hear. Staying in and watching lots of television is never a bad idea under the circumstances. Ciao for now.
