PiercingMetal Thoughts: This is some super cool news for sure. Back when the original G.I. Joe cartoon used to air, I was a dedicated viewer and I even used to record every episode on my VCR. You out there in the younger generation are likely unfamiliar with this practice but back in the day, this was more common than you would think but I digress. I’m truly excited for the return of “Cold Slither” and think that the combination of the collectible action figures, the comic book and sure to be exciting music will have the entire realm of geek under Cobra’s command. Now since I don’t get to the San Diego Comic-Con I won’t be able to get my hands on this set but based on the renderings that Hasbro provided for the sake of promotion they sure do look cool. I’m a fan of the classified series but I don’t have many of them in my collection. I’ve long loved the Super7 stuff as well and at the time of this writing there is no music or comic book intel to share but don’t you worry. As soon as any of that comes to light I shall help it along in our continually growing Pop Culture section.
