We still have a little bit of a wait until “Thor: Ragnarok” continues the live-action adventures of the Odinson as a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but to help spark up even more interest a few character posters have been released. I’ll follow the Official Theatrical poster with the reminder premise and then get on to sharing those visuals. Let’s go.
The Premise:
After the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor, held captive on the planet Sakaar without his hammer, must win a gladiatorial duel against an old friend — the Hulk — in order to return to Asgard in time to stop the villainous Hela and the impending Ragnarök, the doom of the Asgardian civilization.
The Cast:
Chris Hemsworth as Thor
Tom Hiddleston as Loki
Cate Blanchett as Hela
Idris Elba as Heimdall
Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster
Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie
Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk
Anthony Hopkins as Odin
PiercingMetal Thoughts: As per usual, I don’t have much to say on this sort of post but I do like the colors and the “action” that we can feel in them. I’m really looking forward to this film as it looks to be a whole lot of fun. So far the ride on the MCU train has been a bountiful one and I’ve not yet regretted giving them my hard earned cash in the box office and even when the eventual Blu-ray disc becomes available. What about you folks? You are welcome to add some thoughts about what you think about these few visuals. Bring it on I say. Until we meet again.
