“God Save The Queen – A Punk Rock Anthology” is one of the best DVD collections to own to date! It has so many great bands on it, performing the songs they are best known for and some interviews are even thrown in there for an extra bonus! Simple as that, it’s a run down of some of the greatest influential bands of all time, all in their raw, crowd frenzy glory.

It has a little bit of something for everyone! Everything from capturing the Dead Boys at their finest, to the young Billy Idol performing with Generation X, this DVD has captured a little bit of everything. The best parts are you also get interviews with Johnny Thunders, the members of Generation X, the X-Ray Spex and Vice Squad! A special interview with Marky Ramone who talks about the beginnings of punk rock and how the Ramones contributed to a revolution. My favorites included the Dead Boys, Johnny Thunders, Generation X, GBH, and the Subhumans. All the footage is quality shot and straight forward with live performances from all these great bands. From the US to UK this DVD has all areas covered, check it out it’s a nice little collection to have!
