It sure seems like Tuesday is going to take the cake if the barrage of touring information that I am seeing hit my Media Mailbox has anything to say about it. I won’t dance around the topic anymore and just say that “The Metal Alliance” tour is returning and brings you GOATWHORE!!! Check out the poster, full press release and dates. The Metal Alliance Tour celebrates its 8th year of wrecking heads and is presented by hot sauce company High River Sauces. Each year this touring festival assembles a package that celebrates the various genres of Metal. It is with great honor to than to announce GOATWHORE, pioneers of the blackened death metal scene, as the official 2018 Metal Alliance Tour headliner.
The Metal Alliance Tour will make the trek across United States and Canada starting on Halloween at GOATWHORE’s home town on New Orleans and continue through November. Joining the tour is New York City Street Punk legends THE CASUALTIES, Sludge Metal band BLACK TUSK, Boston Hardcore outfit GREAT AMERICAN GHOST and opening the tour will be split between MORTHEREON (10/31 – 11/17) and GOZU (11/18-11/30).
The METAL ALLIANCE TOUR will have 3 different ticket packages; The Scavengwhore VIP Package, VIP Package and General Admission Ticket. Packages vary but include a bottle of Hellacious Hot Sauce from High River Sauces, Tour Poster, Meet & Greets, Laminate, early entry and other awesome swag. PiercingMetal Thoughts: Having seen almost all of the Metal Alliance tours I can safely say that they are a great time and bring a lot of like-minded Metalheads together. Interestingly enough, on this package the only band I actually have some background in is the headlining Goatwhore. That means if I make this one that I will have my work cut out for me.
