Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock for the last couple of years, you probably already know that Ghost is one of the breakthrough artists on the Hard Rock scene and despite their garish looks, their melodies are quite accessible and not as over the top heavy as some might assume. Also hot at the moment is the Instagram social network and to help celebrate the bands new album and songs, they have taken to the medium to deliver what is called an “Instagram Story Video”. Check it out below and I will give my overview afterwards.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: As you see, this video is mostly one that is loaded with reaction shots to the music where a whole group of people are either singing or dancing along or giving the “thumbs up” in approval for what they are listening to. That might not impress many people when described but when those participants include Kirk Hammett (Metallica) Bethany Cosentino (Best Coast) WWE Superstar Chris Jericho, NXT Superstar Aleistar Black, Charlie Benante (Anthrax) Matt Shadows (Avenged Sevenfold) Actress Jessica Pimentel, Philip Anselmo (Pantera) MMA Fighter Josh Barnett, Mike McKenna (NHL Dallas Stars) and Chino Moreno (Deftones) it’s a pretty big frigging deal. I found it charming and think that the track itself is catchy enough for a wider commercial radio presentation and I wondered if you agree with that.
