I know that the Comic Con International: San Diego fans were likely sitting on their hands in anticipation for this new season trailer for “The Walking Dead” because when we left them off things were looking completely grim. Yeah we finally met Neegan and while we had assumed he was no joke, the mannerisms and attitude we got during that final fifteen minutes seems to show that he means business. Recap of Season 6 (2015–16): The residents of Alexandria put more trust in Rick’s group to protect the town better. A group known as the Wolves use a zombie horde to attack Alexandria, and many lives are lost before the living regain control. While recovering, they learn of a community called the Hilltop, who offer to help trade supplies if they can end the threat of the extortionist Saviors led by a man named Negan. Although Rick’s group decimate one Savior outpost, they are later caught by Negan, and forced to swear loyalty to him. (thanks Wiki).

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Since I didn’t read more than a few of the earlier issues of the comic series, I don’t know who “gets it” when this season begins but according to the friends who’ve been following it since the beginning in print, its most probably a certain someone. They told me despite me asking them not too but I will not do that to you. I am sure that it’s not going to be pleasant because when would a beating with a barbed wire covered baseball bat be anything good. This trailer was mostly a person by person reminder of the group with limited new stuff. I guess it will all add to the suspense that will leave us the moment this one begins in October. Remember now to stay off Facebook because I am rather certain that this outcome will be spoiled in a matter of seconds after it broadcasts. While I am curious about what you think about this upcoming season, I will ask that you do not disclose the name or names of anyone who might be dispatched in the event you know. Alright, let the countdown to October begin. Winter is coming….oh wait, wrong franchise.
