If you’ve been following the FX Original Series “American Horror Story” for any length of time, you will be happy to know that not only will it be returning in the coming days but that this brand new epic will bring us to the end of the world as we know it (feel free to hum along to REM’s classic song). With that being said, here now is the trailer for “American Horror Story: Apocalypse”. Dim the lights and let’s take a look
Premise: After the nuclear apocalypse, the world’s chosen elite survive in secure outposts created by the mysterious Cooperative in “American Horror Story: Apocalypse.” On the American West Coast, Ms. Wilhemina Venable and Ms. Miriam Mead run Outpost Three with an iron fist. The unexpected arrival of Michael Langdon, a Cooperative representative determined to save society with a secret paradise, throws their order into chaos. However, underneath the surface of humanity’s salvation lies a battlefield for the final conflict between good and evil. (quoting YouTube).

PiercingMetal Thoughts: As you can see by this trailer, there are elements from both “Murder House” and “Coven” seasons so this might actually be interesting. My problem with this anthology series is that it starts out strong and often fizzles out by the end. I’ve seen all but the “Cult” seasons and since that doesn’t appear to be in any of the notations about the new series, think its okay that I didn’t see a single episode of that one. I noticed it was on Netflix the other day so I will likely try to catch up for good measure. This trailer does seem creepy which is always a good start in a horror series. What did you think of it? Will you be programming your DVR or setting your mobile to remind you about the show airing on September 12th? Let me know down in the comments section below. See you next time.
