Back in 2016, the world of Geekdom saw the return of Agents Mulder and Scully in “The X-Files” Season 10. There were only six episodes to the season and they left us with a bit of a cliffhanger. Now, the time has come to reveal the trailer for the 2018 returning show for its eleventh season. Check out the trailer that was unveiled at this years NY Comic Con. I’ll follow it with some light premise and cast before closing it up with editorial.
The Premise: The season’s storyline will pick up directly after last season’s finale and the search for Mulder and Scully’s son William will be a main story arc for the season. (thanks Wiki)

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I will not lie and say that I loved the Season 10 brief series that they gave us in 2016 and I am saying this as someone who religiously watched the show each and every week and now owns them on DVD and some on the Blu-ray format. I found the pacing of the limited run series to be a tad lacking and since I had no idea that they would even attempt this again as a series, to get a cliffhanger as the closing really left me dry. I wasn’t alone in the viewpoint as numerous critics also had issues with it. The trailer looks like it might be a better go round for the new and now longer season offering. Sure I’ll DVR it, but if it doesn’t win me over after a couple of episodes I am cancelling the recording and moving onto other shows. As you know from reading this website, there are quite a few comic related programs to enjoy and they sure do keep my time busy.
