The Fox series based on the X-Men franchise is called “The Gifted” and it has been granted a second season. Since there are two sides to the mutant contingent of the show, there are two distinct trailers to enjoy. One for the Mutant Underground or the good guys while the other lends time to the baddies of the series. Let’s look.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: When this series was announced I had absolutely 0% interest because I was tired of the endless changes to canon and the series of stories which I grew up on. I added to that the introduction of characters and powers just because they could do so really pissed me off. That being said, I let the series record on DVR and pretty much forgot about it. I watched “Legion” and really had trouble following it and then when feeling rather blah with a head cold or whatever, I decided to clear up the DVR space that was being used by “The Gifted”. When all was said and done, I ended up enjoying it and now I am looking forward to this new season. Of course, now Disney has the X-Men properties back under their control so who knows what is going to happen with this kind of stuff in the future. Either way, I’ve got this second season programmed and ready to capture on those nights when I have shows. What about you readers? Did you give this a chance or hated on it like I initially did.
