I’ve been keeping up with the numerous postponements and cancellations here on PiercingMetal and over on “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken”. Over here you only need to click on the “coronavirus” tag in this post and for the other website click HERE. It will keep you up to date. Now it’s time to share an update from the folks at Clutter Magazine regarding their Five Points Festival. Read on.

The Press Release:
As of now, Five Points Fest 2020 is postponed. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.

With the current public health crisis posed by COVID-19 it is becoming increasingly clear that we cannot hold Five Points Fest 2020 at the end of May as scheduled. We are currently working with The Brooklyn EXPO Center to reschedule the event at a later point in the year. We are hopeful that they will have a concrete date for us sometime in the next week.

We will be honoring all booth deposits, payments, and sign-ups for 2020 towards either the rescheduled date for Five Points Festival 2020, or Five Points Festival 2021.

All tickets will be honored for either a postponed date in 2020 or Five Points Fest 2021. VIP Ticket Holders will still be receiving their 2020 toy regardless of the final event date. As soon as we have more information we will let you know. If you have any questions for us please get in touch – [email protected]. We’re busy working to find the best route forward right now so please bear with us if our responses aren’t as quick as normal.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: This one really surprises me but then again it doesn’t. A couple of weeks ago we learned that the Book Expo was being postponed until a later date and shared that news on “The Chronicles” as seen HERE. That event has taken place on the same weekend as this one. Let’s keep safe out there my friends and remember to practice social distancing and keep washing your hands. Be smart and we shall eventually get back to doing all of the things that we enjoy in a safer, healthier environment. My thoughts go out to all of you of course. I hope that we are in more of a clear in the coming weeks because like most of you I’d love to get back to a less precarious way of life. Since some of you might be wondering what this event is like, I am putting my video clip from last years event down below. Don’t mind the date listed on the clip as its the 2019 wander. I had some issues with the original file and discovered more footage so it was re-posted on our channel.
