Good morning my friends and welcome back to yet another chapter in our extensive coverage of the 2015 NY Comic Con. You’ve successfully arrived at the first chapter of the Day Three adventuring and this will most likely be a doozy based on the Saturday session being the most populated in terms of the masses that make their way into the Jacob Javits Center. I think last year’s full convention tally was something like 151,000 attendees and for anyone who has walked in on the Saturday it feels like the number was from that day alone. It’s time for Mister Miracle to fire up one of the Boom Tubes because the Metal Maestro is heading into Apokolips (that’s a DC Comics “New Gods” reference for those who have no idea what I am talking about). I’ll start off with this pair of Twisted Fairy Tale cosplayers of Alice and a Wicked Queen. Nice work ladies.
Here’s another vendor that I have spotlighted in the Toy Fair explorations over the years with the display table and offerings of Factory Entertainment. They make a lot of cool and quirky things for some of the most popular entertainment properties out today. Take a look at these next bunch of images.
Check these out. These are mini action figures (about the size of the smaller G.I. Joe and Micronauts lines of old) and they are geared towards young women to inspire them to join in on the collecting hobby a bit more. They are called “IAmElemental” and they’re pretty awesome. I first heard about these from our good friend Skeleton Pete who observed them at an event called “Sweet Suite”. Take a look.
Here’s Lindsey Ann of Symphony Blush once more who was looking dangerous sexy in her Harley Quinn from the “Suicide Squad” film cosplay. She made bad look so darned good today 🙂
Lindsey also did the makeover on this unsuspecting citizen and made her the Enchantress from the film of the same name. This film will follow the 2016 release of “Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice” and continue to build upon DC Comics own cinematic universe.
This is Lilly Dubs, a cosplayer that I met a few years ago and look forward to chancing upon at the conventions. She does great cosplay and here she is as Poison Ivy, a Batman villainess if you were not aware of the character.
For the next few shots I decided to give you a look around the aisles from my vantage point. As you can see there was a whole lot to do and plenty of people milling about.
Okay my friends, I am going to catch my breath for a little while now that I’ve reached the end of the first chapter of the Day Three NYCC explorations. I hope you’ve enjoyed the wonderful colors that were displayed in the above images and don’t forget there are plenty of slightly different visuals on the Official PiercingMetal Instagram so come give that network a follow and like, like, like the images. I’ll be back tomorrow with the second installment and until that time please feel free to click through on some of the website links below so you can learn more about the folks that were presented in this particular post. You know they would love the visit. Ciao.
