“This is the end, Beautiful friend, This is the end, My only friend, The end. Of our elaborate plans, the end, Of everything that stands, the end, No safety or surprise, the end. I’ll never look into your eyes again…….” Hey friends, my apologies for seeming rather morose and foreboding but I tend to get that way after a lengthy batch of presentations like these New York Comic Con ones. That said we have indeed arrived at the final installment from this years convention with Part 3 of Day Four right before your very eyes. Since I’ve been telling people about these posts for the last few days I am sure that some are only joining us now and they should click HERE first to see all of the chapters that have come before this latest one. With our final installment I am just going to finish some visuals from the Artist Alley and Main Floor before I head home for some much needed rest. Let’s go.
It was interesting and weird to see the gorgeous Nadya Sonika as Mojo Jo Jo the mortal enemy of the Powerpuff Girls.
Though the episode has already aired, as you can see by the advertising truck, “The Walking Dead” was set to continue on the final night of NYCC. Historically speaking, the badges for the convention have had characters from this series for years now. Part of me wishes they would have had stuff from Marvel Studios but hey I am not in the planning meetings. As I walked back to the train, I could barely keep my eyes open much less hope to be awake for TWD. Not after four straight days of NYCC with some evening activity on a couple of the nights.
So there you have it my friends. One more New York Comic Con is locked into the Pop Culture side of the PiercingMetal fence. I hope that you enjoyed this one because I loved sharing it all with you. Remember, its really important to come on over to our assorted social networks and led the proper support. It’s the best way to show us that you are out there as well and we’d like to know that information for sure. As you witnessed during these posts, PiercingMetal is VERY active on our Official Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts. I think I blew up my Gram with all the cosplayers but hey such is life. Sadly, I never managed to get to the “Anime Fest @ NYCC x Anime Expo” over at Pier 94 but that was based on my time being consumed the whole four days at Javits for the proper NYCC. Maybe ReedPOP will bring this back next year and make it over the course of a different set of days or do it in the same location if they can find the space. I would have loved to see what it was all about but just couldn’t free up the time from the work being done in Javits. I will see you next time and I think that our next convention will be the Anime NYC one (and I might have a ticket contest for that one as well) and then its WinterCon before the 2018 year closes up. See you next time and thanks for reading.
Update: In 2021 a video photo gallery was uploaded to the Official PiercingMetal YouTube Channel to help build up the content there and to offer fans of the New York Comic Con a different way to enjoy the presentation. This clip is from Day Three of our 2018 explorations. We ask site visitors to subscribe to the channel, click the notification bell and leave a comment and like the video to allow for more milestones to be reached.
