Hey there my friends and welcome back. Now before I get started on this post from the earlier this month’s Toy Fair, I wonder if you’ve had enough by now and wish for me to stop. If you answered “yes” for some reason I am afraid that I can’t help you since I still have a few more posts to bring to your attention. With this post I’m beginning the discoveries over at the Super7 booth. I’ve been a fan of their releases for a few years and now let’s get into it.

Anytime that we see Super7 at the Toy Fair or even the New York Comic Con they have their guardian at the gates with the giant statue of Mummy Boy. Offhand I don’t recall if they’ve brought it him to the New York Comic Con but they might have and I’m just not remembering it. He’s a really cool figure just the same and I always smile when I see him welcoming in the buyers and media at the booth.

Our friends at Super7 are way big on the blind boxes in terms of releases and while the originally packaged a whole lot of Godzilla Reaction Figures, there are now a few different sets coming to the purchaser as a mystery.

This “Godzilla Minus One” figure is sweet.

They also release a line under a “Super Kaiju” definition. These are about 6″-8″ inches and a bit higher in price but if this is the size you prefer in your figures then these are for you.

From their Super Cyborg line comes a Mechagodzilla.

The lights in the display cases messed with some of my visuals but you can also see them unencumbered on the Official Website.

These are the original Godzilla releases and I wanted them all but there was insufficient side scratch for me to do that. They generally run about $20 in the local comic book shops and on online mediums.

Several themed releases such as the Cherry Blossom Festival, Invasion of Astro-Monster and the one that looked like the classic model kit. I had that model kit and actually several since I would play with it as opposed to letting it sit on the shelf. Don’t judge as I don’t even think I was 10 years old back then. I do not have any of them anymore.

Now its onto some musical releases like the enigmatic Ghost. Super7 has been releasing assorted editions of Papa Emeritus.

As does the Misfits fiend. You know they made a Jerry Only figure and I never managed to get around to securing one. With these kinds of releases you have to act fast as they don’t produce a ton of them so if you snooze you lose.

It was fun to see a release for the members of Spinal Tap. There were two versions to grab if you’re a diehard.

This new set of Motley Crue is in black and white and quite hard to photograph. Nikki Sixx was actually at the Toy Fair doing meetings with a number of companies. While I didn’t get to speak to him he walked right passed me so I growled “Sixxxxxxx!”. He smiled.

The Misfits, Samhain, Danzig and Motorhead get action figures done in the style of the classic “Masters Of The Universe” line. They look cool but they are for the discerning collector IMHO.

As I have pointed out a few times over the years, I always like to get no more than “50” images into a single post for brevity sake and allow succinct focus. I had to break that rule with this piece of the Super7 Toy Fair puzzle because the amount of images I snapped were not enough for three posts but instead two slightly expanded ones. Whew. Sorry for being so wordy but I do like to bring you into the process every so often. I’ll return tomorrow with the rest of the findings at the Super7 booth and hope that you enjoyed part one and are already planning your Christmas list early or maybe a birthday if that is still coming up.
