Good early morning to you all my dear readers and welcome back to the expansive and in-depth coverage from the recently completed Toy Association Toy Fair. If you’re only just now joining us please know that for about a week now I’ve been sharing the discoveries at all of the exhibitor booths that we paid a visit to. I’m up to one of my favorites and will be bringing you into the pavilion that was being maintained by the folks from Bandai Namco.
What I like about Bandai Namco is that they bring a lot of the amazing creations from Japan over to our shores and they now have a US Presence. We often see them at events like the New York Comic Con and the Anime NYC but meeting with them at Toy Fair let’s me peruse all the items that are to come. I’m not planning on doing much talking in this one and instead will break the sections down and let you enjoy.
Their massive supply of Godzilla offerings really appealed to me as I’m pretty much a lifelong fan of the famed monster. From these you will see some larger and smaller figures and a number of blind boxes. Personally I lean towards the figures that are about 6″ in height and wish I had the funds to collect them all. There are a LOT of these figures.
They also have a lot of “Ultraman” stuff and while I am not as up to speed on the character, he does have his own Netflix film and a number of comic book releases from Marvel Comics which makes me want to learn a lot more. Maybe some of you diehards can recommend where I start my own journey into the adventures of Ultraman. Much like the Godzilla figures, the ones that are about 6″ are of most appeal to me.
There was a healthy amount of Gundam items to peruse. I’ve always liked giant robots defending the planet from nasty forces and I’ve even talked about a couple of their lines over the years.
I’ll wrap this installment up now because I’ve hit the amount of photos that I like to include in these things. Don’t worry I do have another set of images from the Bandai Namco pavilion to share with you and that one will post tomorrow at the same time as we did this one. I hope you didn’t mind me not chiming in on everything but that’s based on my still having so much to do for you to get the full picture.
