PiercingMetal Thoughts: Though I’ve already mentioned how I am not the biggest fan of the digital comics over the physical ones, I do love this idea because it’s a perfect distraction from the chaos that is going on out there at the moment. Let’s remember that not only is “Free Comic Book Day” cancelled this year (noted HERE) but Diamond Comics Group had announced that no new issues will be shipping until all of this had passed us by (noted HERE). I signed up for a ComiXology account some years ago and I love tinkering with it when I’m on a long train ride or finding some downtime in a waiting room of any kind. My only gripe with the service is the need to download titles to one’s device as opposed to securing them on ones Google Drive or Amazon space. Depending on how many you stockpile, you can easily run out of space. When they announce free stuff I jump on them and my space gets perilous LOL. That’s all I have to add to this announcement, and I wonder what you think about it all. Have you signed up and downloaded the titles being made available so far? Right off the bat, I think the titles that I am most interested in would be “Green Hornet”, “James Bond”, “Masks”, “Alice Cooper” and “Sheena” and “Xena”. Of course I am most likely going to download all of them for good measure. Chime in down below and let me know what you think and what your own favorites are from this batch. I hope that you are all being smart and safe and healthy during this precarious time. See you next time around.
