Those subscribers to the DC Universe streaming and reading service are going to love that a brand new live action series is coming hot off the heels of the intense “Titans” series that only recently completed its first season. I’m talking about The Doom Patrol who were always a bit of a quirky team of misfits since their inception and with their show launching on the service in the coming days we now have a quick trailer for it called “Meet The Doom Patrol”. Take a look.
The Premise: Set after the events of Titans, the Doom Patrol – consisting of Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Woman, Crazy Jane and new recruit Cyborg led by Dr. Niles Caulder – receive a mission to stop the supernatural supervillain known as Mr. Nobody from taking over the world.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: At present I am not a subscriber to the DC Universe streaming service but I did give it a go some months ago when “Titans” first began. It’s a reasonable enough cost but at the time I felt it needed more content for me to stick with it. I’ll be following the reports about this one since I always loved the characters but I want to wait and see what the others say about it. What do you think? Are you DC Universe subscribers?
