It was only a month ago from today that we got our first teaser trailer for the latest DC Universe live action series “Swamp Thing”. Now, with the series beginning on the service in the coming days, a full on official trailer is revealed. Take a look.
The Premise: Abby Arcane returns home to Houma, Louisiana to investigate a deadly swamp-borne virus, where she develops a bond with scientist Alec Holland. After Holland tragically dies, Arcane discovers the mysteries of the swamp and that Holland may not be dead after all.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: When I shared the Teaser Trailer I wrote what still amount to be my thoughts so here I go with repeating myself for your best possible awareness – Now I should stress that I am not currently a subscriber to the DC Universe service and its not based on lack of interest but more the fact of my having too many accounts as it is. I gave it a whirl when “Titans” was just starting and while I liked the show, I didn’t stick to the account long enough to see the entire series. My biggest gripe was content at the time. There weren’t a ton of comic books to browse through and you couldn’t binge watch a series in full. Let me add to that the lack of access on my PS3 Gaming System and Amazon Kindle Fire tablet. So a number of factors for me despite my loving the character of Swamp Thing and being one of the more religious readers when it was originally on the racks some years ago – So this looked really grim and gritty and super violent with lots of gore involved and I am okay with that since in many cases the original “Swamp Thing” comic was a horror title. As I already noted, I am intrigued by some of the characters that have been included such as Madame Xanadu, Woodrue and Blue Devil and though he is a part of the “Legends Of Tomorrow” series, I wonder if they will bring in John Constantine for this one.
