DC Comics #1’s Coming In July 2015

Well here we are in July of 2015 my friends and that means that the year is at its halfway point. It’s summertime for us New Yorkers and while the blazing heat has not really hit us yet for some reason, the comic book stuff that is coming out on both sides of the illustrated media fences is surely blazing. Let’s take a look at the DC Comics offerings with some cover art and basic premise that is provided by their press channels. I’m planning on keeping any titles first annual edition in this sort of narrative along with some first go round trade editions so I hope you like that. I’ll be back with thoughts of my own at the end. See you soon.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ll admit that I am not too up on the offerings for this month but can also add that I am not really a fan of the things that were done to Lobo. Changing the original Bastitch around seemed unnecessary but here we are. I am interested in the “Gotham By Midnight” trade paperback for sure since that title has eluded me on the stands somehow. Sounds interesting and the same applies for the two lead in titles for the upcoming animated film “Justice League: Gods and Monsters”. I love the DC Animated Universe and think its a whole lot more interesting than some of the proposed live action stuff that we are hearing about. So what do you readers think? Are any of these first issues on your agenda? Let me know in the comments below and I will see you again next time with the Marvel offerings for July.
