In the beginning of October, the mighty Behemoth will release their next album which is entitled “I Loved You At Your Darkest”. The opus will come care of their label of record for the last few years in Metal Blade Records and now that they have completed their support of “The Final Tour” by Slayer it’s time to get back to work on their own agenda. The first single for the album is “God=Dog” and the video for this profane little ditty just manifested across the darker channels of the YouTube. Let’s watch and I suggest that you leave the lights on and have some rosary beads nearby. Oh yeah, and chase the kids or younger friends out of the room since there are some violent and pseudo sexual images coming at you in this one. Definitely NSFW.
Whew. That was something else wasn’t it? Truth be told this didn’t surprise me since its Behemoth and after all, they have worn their blasphemous teachings on their sleeves for many, many years. In this one we find a few different variations on the Crucifixion and while singer Nergal is at one point one of the men hanging, we also find him playing the part of a vengeful king and then some angry demonic force of horror. Intense for sure and like I’ve mentioned just before the clip – not for all audiences. The track itself I will go into for a Single Review in the coming days. The video comes on the tail of the bands announcing their North American tour which we celebrated here on the website on a post that you can find HERE in case you missed it. Having just seen them during one of the Slayer appearances, I can only say how excited I am for a headlining tour as they truly command the stage. If you haven’t seen them yet, let this be your time.
