It was back in July when we helped announce the news that the Original Misfits would bring their reunion show to New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden. You can see that post by clicking HERE. Recently, at the opening for Rob Zombie’s “3 From Hell” film, Danzig was stopped on the red carpet by the folks at Bionic Buzz where he revealed that this MSG show will be the final one. Take a look at the clip.

The Original Misfits are comprised of Danzig, Jerry Only and Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein who were members of the groups most famous lineup and they are accompanied by drummer Dave Lombardo and guitarist Acey Slade.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: So that is the stand from the man who pretty much controls the destiny of what will happen with the Original Misfits. Having seen the appearance at the Prudential Center last year I have to tell you that if you can somehow secure a ticket to this show then you must do so by all means possible. They are getting some support by The Damned and Rancid as well and you know that is a proper sendoff for sure. I’m a big fan of The Damned as well and cannot stress enough that you catch them at this show. So as I close this brief alert up, I wonder if you think that this really is “That’s All Folks” for the Original Misfits reunion shows or can you foresee additional ones coming down the pike. I understand Glenn has other projects and interests that he wants to focus on but the cash rolling in from these performances is astounding.
