It’s going to make some Metal heads day for sure as Glen Danzig announced the news about his “Blackest Of The Black” tour package was returning the other day and just released the full itinerary a short time ago. I’ve snagged the poster and the words scribbled on the Official Facebook for your indulgence and shall return with thoughts after that.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I have to say that this has been a busy day in terms of tour announcements as we’ve been lining out the concert plans for Between The Buried and Me and Tesseract and now this one but I digress. This year’s BOTB is sure to be a tour for the record books for many of the Metal Legions out there if they’ve been fans of the Danzig gospel for any amount of time. The roster is an interesting one to me since it features the returning to action Superjoint (who seem to have dropped the “Ritual” from their name) with Phil Anselmo at the helm and the Metalcore stylings of Veil Of Maya. The whole night will be led off by Prong and Witch Mountain and I hope fans will get into the room early enough for the first act since their brand of Melodic Doom is truly worth experiencing in the live sense. I’ve seen all of the bands on the bill with the exception of Prong and am sure that you will get your money’s worth if you arrive early enough to absorb it all. Not sure at this point if I am catching the tour myself because its all based on scheduling for me but I wondered what your thoughts were about it all. Let me know what you think about this particular package and the Danzig BOTB tour as well. Topical comments are always welcome here on the website.
