Can we start a process of giving gifts for Halloween? If not, let’s start that up since a few awesome things have manifested just in time for the holiday and among them are these awesome Marvel Legends action figures by Hasbro. This series is focused on the upcoming Marvel Studios feature “Black Panther” which is coming in February 2018 and has found trailers being promoted in posts on this website like on THIS LINK. There are some cool inclusions in this set and Hasbro continues to keep the Marvel Legends Series as one of my favorite lines of action figures. The images below come from official resources and with the packaging being clearly labeled, I didn’t point out each and every character. Here we go.
Here is the assembled figure of Okoye to let you see what you get once you collect all the parts.
PiercingMetal Thoughts: Much like my opinion about the “Build-A-Figure” set for “Guardians Of The Galaxy” action figures where you could build a Mantis figure, I think that they could have done a little better than offering up Okoye from the upcoming movie. Now don’t get me wrong because I fully believe that Danai Guirara deserves an action figure of her own since she looks like she kicks some behind in the trailer and will be sought after if they make one. I just feel that the BAF item should be a bigger figure like we have found them doing with Man-Thing, Onslaught and so on. From this set I love that we get not only Black Bolt of The Inhumans but also Prince Namor, The Sub-Mariner. Recently the fans of the MCU have found the silent Black Bolt being introduced in “The Inhumans” mini-series but the show is not good at all and feels “cheap” by comparison to even “Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” IMHO. Too bad about that. Namor however is a character that fans will want in their collection and even more so want him to appear at long last in the MCU. The Iron Man wasn’t a surprise since he is always nice to have in a set with a different suit of armor. What do you readers think about this series? Does it make you even more excited for the 2018 film? I am of course but being patient since its still October and we have “Thor: Ragnarok” and “Justice League” opening up in a few weeks so I have enough stuff on my plate. Let me know down in the comments about these just the same.
