Submitted for your approval. It was during the Super Bowl some weeks ago that we got a brief (very brief) glimpse of the upcoming CBS All Access program “The Twilight Zone”. This is a bit of a reimagining of the classic series that was created by the great Rod Serling. I loved this show so let’s take a look at the longer trailer and some other stuff.
The Premise: An updated version of the classic TV series featuring various tales of science fiction, horror and mystery. Hosted by Jordan Peele.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: The original series of “The Twilight Zone” remain some of my very favorite television and while I have a number of favorite episodes there are certainly far too many to outline here. Whenever I am aware of a marathon of them being aired, I program the DVR to catch them all and work my way throught them. I do this despite the series being available on Netflix but don’t judge. This looks to be promising but at the time of this writing, I am NOT a subscriber to the CBS All Access service. This is why I’ve already missed the first season of “Star Trek: Discovery” which is now in its own second season. Hopefully some of these providers start working on deals for folks who want to binge watch these shows as its getting difficult to handle an additional charge to watch a few programs that I might enjoy along with numerous other Geek minded folks.
