Wednesday is as good a day as any to announce a massive run by one of Metal Blade Records signature acts – Cattle Decapitation. This November/December, CATTLE DECAPITATION will headline the North American Geocidal Tendencies Tour featuring support from Atheist, Full Of Hell, Primitive Man, Author & Punisher, and Vitriol. The extensive trek will kick off just before the release of CATTLE DECAPITATION’s long-awaited ninth studio album, Death Atlas, due out November 29th via Metal Blade Records. Additionally, the band will headline the official Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest LA preparty, which takes place on December 12th at The Regent in Los Angeles, California. Atheist, Primitive Man, Author & Punisher, and Vitriol are once again joining the bill as support.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Though I admit to not always being on point when Cattle Decapitation comes through our neck of the woods, I’ve enjoyed their level of overall brutality for sure. Historically speaking, I’ve only seen Atheist and Author & Punisher once so if I manage to be a part of my regional show, I will be arriving early enough to see the intensity of everyone involved.
