Since I received this about a week ago, I’m not going to say all that much and instead let the very thorough press release fill you in. I apologize for the lateness but I was getting myself prepped for the first time ever attending Toy Fair (which begins tomorrow) and these sorts of posts are still something very new to the sites blog. I do hope to do a lot more “tour announcing” narratives as the site aims towards the sixth anniversary in April. Here we go – The Rockstar Mayhem Fest Details Emerge!

ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL, the heralded hard rock and metal event of the summer, is swiftly becoming the heavy music fans’ summertime rite of passage. Today, the 4th annual summertime juggernaut announces the 2011 line-up with DISTURBED, GODSMACK and MEGADETH, joined by MACHINE HEAD, IN FLAMES, TRIVIUM, and many more of today’s most electrifying artists. The tour will make a 26 date trek across the country beginning on July 9th at the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, California. This summer’s mainstage artists, DISTURBED, GODSMACK, and MEGADETH, will be joined by a ferocious mix of the best hard rock and metal artists of today. For the first time in festival history, through their success, IN FLAMES, MACHINE HEAD and TRIVIUM have grown through the ranks to now perform on the mainstage in rotating slots throughout the tour. ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL is thrilled to see the return of festival veterans DISTURBED, MACHINE HEAD, TRIVIUM, and SUICIDE SILENCE. The JAGERMEISTER stage will feature UNEARTH, KINGDOM OF SORROW, RED FANG, and the winners of JAGERMEISTER Battle of the Bands. The Extreme Stage will spotlight SUICIDE SILENCE, ALL SHALL PERISH and STRAIGHT LINE STITCH.

Buckcherry & Hellyeah: The Jagermeister Music Tour 2011

The fine folks who handle the press for the Synergy Entertainment Group asked me to share this video with you readers and since we just knew that you would eat it up, we kindly obliged. The short video features the band Buckcherry (an often mentioned favorite of That Metal Show’s Eddie Trunk) as they discuss the upcoming 2011 Jagermeister Music Tour which they will be headlining.  To make matters more interesting this event will feature Hellyeah as their direct support (you know, that Outlaw Metal band that features Vinnie Paul of Pantera and a couple of the guys from Mudvayne). To kick things up a notch we also get All That Remains who kick many levels of ass and the brand new project from Anthrax and Fall Out Boy members with The Damned Things.  Check out the video and make sure you get your tickets for the performance in your town before they sell out.

Kamelot Announces “Pandemonium Over North America 2010 Tour”

Yesterday, the management powers that be behind the Power Metal sensations Kamelot, release some information about the bands next tour and while it was brief and to the point, I wanted to share it with you all right here on the Blog. Check it out and then watch for my thoughts afterwards.

The Press Release:
KAMELOT will release “Poetry for the Poisoned” through E1/Koch on September 14, 2010. earMusic/Edel will release in Europe/UK. Marquee/Avalon Records will release in Japan. KAMELOT will embark on its first North American tour in two years starting September 8th. Support on the trek will come from LEAVES’ EYES and BLACKGUARD.
