Greetings again Trekkies, I was ready to welcome you back to the exploration of the “Star Trek: Mission New York” narratives but its only logical that you have returned to the website to see what the readings on our media tricorder have actually discovered. I’m sorry, I am aiming at being thematically humorous here so please bear with me. Let’s get this landing party started. If you’ve missed the earlier chapter please click HERE to see them all in a new browser tab. So I had taken a quick break for lunch and when I returned I noticed two great actors being interviewed on that Enterprise bridge that I showed you before. This is Robert Picardo (The Doctor) and Michael Dorn (Mr. Worf) from “Star Trek: Voyager” and “Star Trek: The Next Generation” respectively. How cool is that.
Now let’s continue on with the awesome Trekkies and the characters that they were portraying. I was really craving a Star Trek shirt at this point but held back based on other financial demands at the moment.
This was a fantastic Lego Space Shuttle Enterprise. Nice work to whomever took the time to build it. I always admire that stuff.
Hey look, it seems as though we’ve beamed aboard to the Rock Love booth that is run by the talented Allison Hourcade. We met Allison at one of the NY Comic Con’s some years ago and always love to include her and her designs in our coverage. She and her colleague Gabby were Vulcanized today and looking fab.
Isn’t this Starship Enterprise ring amazing? Look, it even lets the saucer separate from the rest of the ring.
I loved these “Metal Earth” creations as well but I have never had much success in making them look like they are supposed to.
There were a lot of new and very interesting games available and letting fans participate in. Sadly in the interest of time I was unable to join in but will have links down below for you to follow and learn more should you be interested.
I loved these specialty pins by FanSets. I’ve always been a button and pin collector and used to have a denim jacket covered in them. Nowadays I set them up in a frame as geek artwork to not lose them.
Thought these ones were NOT Star Trek related, there were cool and help celebrate the release of the “Suicide Squad” film. I saw the film and had to say that I liked it better than “Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice”. As a matter of fact both of those films were reviewed in our Movie Reviews area so check them out by clicking HERE.
That’s the end of the third chapter but according to the captain’s log there is still more to present to you so sit back and relax a spell and perhaps even watch some “Star Trek” classic episodes on Netflix if you subscribe to the service. Also, please click through on some of the website links to see what else they have to offer you and if you enjoy Instagram, I have loaded up a whole lot of additional images to the profile. Click HERE and give us a follow and like, like, like those images because the fate of the Federation is at stake here 🙂
Update: In 2021 a photo gallery video was created and uploaded to our Official YouTube Channel to allow a broader audience to enjoy this fun convention. We ask our readers to come watch this clip, give it a like and Subscribe to the Channel to show some support. This fun flashback is only one of a series of similar convention videos we have resident on the channel and more are coming.
