By now you’ve likely heard about the very last, final performance of Black Sabbath with the original lineup and Ozzy Osbourne’s own farewell to the live concert stage. PiercingMetal Thoughts: Now before I get into the coolness of being able to stream such a historic event, I should say that I will not actually be in attendance for the sure to be thrilling Metal event. That being said I do know a bunch of people that will be there and it cost them a few bucks when all was said and done. I’ll admit that I was interested because I do love Ozzy music and of course Black Sabbath and many of the other bands that are participating but the financials of an overseas jaunt with lodging in addition to the ticket price was just not going to allow me to do this. We’ve been a self-funded entity since launch and that leaves very little wiggle room but I digress. The stream looks to be running about $30 and I am sure that someone with the mega huge TV in your circle of friends will be on point to host some kind of Sabbath Farewell Hang. I haven’t decided if I wish to purchase it myself or go to hang with other Metal folks but I do know that I’d like to opine about the whole thing once it finishes and I know that every single Metal media enterprise will be doing that so if you are already following any of our own social media output, thank you very much.
