The summer might be blazing us into air-conditioned spaces but that doesn’t prevent bands like The Black Dahlia Murder from announcing a tour that will happen in some states during the Fall and cooler months. Let’s check it out.
The Press Release:
This November and December, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER will continue its support of their internationally-acclaimed Nightbringers album with a new round of US tour dates. The trek, set to commence on November 24th, includes a stop at the inaugural Los Angeles version of the Decibel Metal And Beer Fest. Support along the way comes from friends in Power Trip, Pig Destroyer, Khemmis, Ghoul, Gost, Havok, Midnight, Skeletal Remains, and Devourment. Tickets go on sale Friday August 3rd. See all confirmed dates below.
THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER frontman Trevor Strnad comments: “Yes! The time has finally come and we are able to announce one of the coolest tours we have ever been a part of! As you can imagine, I had quite a hand in assembling the lineup here, and I am so proud and thrilled at what we’ve been able to construct. Not only do we in THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER get to go rage at Decibel Metal And Beer Fest in Los Angeles this winter, but we have surrounded ourselves with some insane regional lineups featuring many of my favorite bands in the underground right now, to see us to California and back. Thanks to all parties involved and be sure to check the fine print to see which of these amazingly sick outfits will be joining us in your town this November and December.”

THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER will be touring in support of their latest album, Nightbringers, which was released to critical acclaim last fall. In the hands of guitarist Brian Eschbach – who co-founded the band with frontman Trevor Strnad in 2001 – and new recruit Brandon Ellis (Arsis, ex-Cannabis Corpse), Nightbringers is rich with dynamic riffs that are at once fresh and classic THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, resulting in a collection that shifts through many moods and effortlessly incorporates various elements of extreme metal. PiercingMetal Thoughts: Whew, it sure looks like the fans that get to attend one or more of these appearances will be getting their money’s worth. I’ve seen a lot of these bands in action before and they are super impressive and some even fun to behold the levels of craziness they display. Sadly, despite being a fan of TBDM, I haven’t seen them on a headlining run for quite a few years. It’s never been my intent but that’s just how the cycle of shows I’ve been seeing as flowed. I encourage as many of you as possible to check them out since its an energetic ride with one of the best Death Metal bands on the circuit. Make sure you arrive early enough to enjoy the support acts though because that is important in keeping the genre and these bands thriving. With so many bands heading to the retirement path, we need the others to keep on succeeding. As I close this announcement up you can let me know what you think about the tour and if you’d head to one of the shows. That’s what the comments are for after all.
