The “buzz” around the news started to circulate a couple of hours ago based on a video that Slayer had posted to their Official Facebook Page and while we’ve shared said video below, we’ve generally kept to the practice of waiting on a larger bit of press copy to raise your awareness. The alert from our publicity channel over at the bands label Nuclear Blast Records pointed this out to be “The End Of Days” which according to The Bible is some pretty grim stuff. Just check out these quotes from John “Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour” and Matthew “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.” – Hea-vy! The poster showcased just who will be a part of this final go round and its pretty much the combination of the last couple of Slayer tours when it comes down to it. It’s safe to say that there is a little something for everyone on this. If they like crushing and thrashing Metal of course.
Since we didn’t get anything else in terms of information, I’ve decided to add some previously unseen images from the bands appearance at The Theater In Madison Square Garden back in 2013. We braved the photo pit as the audience propelled themselves over the barricade again and again. What a blast that is to be a part of.
PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’m going to hold my tongue until a full on press release comes out with the dates and places that the band will be performing get lined out. You don’t mind do you? I hope not since there isn’t much else to add.
