Toy Fair 2017 is in the books and we have what feels like a hundred companies to sort through and share here on the website. Among the many exhibitors presenting were the fine folks at Hasbro but sadly we were not able to be a part of their press presentation this year. I know, its a bummer but what can you do. After the event I learned that they revealed a 40th Anniversary collection of action figures that are based on the Original Twelve that came out so very long ago.

I’ve secured the images of the twelve revisions to the classic original 3.75″ inch figures and have shared them with you below. I don’t really think that I need to say which character is which do I? If I do, then I’d like to thank you for coming to the PiercingMetal.com website for the very first time and I hope you enjoy your exploration into the “Star Wars” franchise ;p Here we go.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Simply put, I love these figures and somewhere in a big plastic crate in my storage container are my original action figures. I remember them fondly and they were initially released by Kenner before Hasbro took on the license for the property. Man, I have to smile when I recall the hunting that was involved in getting each and every one of these original twelve. Sadly they are NOT on the cardboard because no one was doing that back in the day. You played with your action figures as opposed to saving them for posterity. My how times have changed.
