Behold Ghost’s NSFW Video For The Song “Year Zero”

The band Ghost is one of the most mysterious of the Hard Rock acts currently on the circuit today and their brand new album is entitled “Infestissumam”. They’ve recently unveiled the video for one of its tracks called “Year Zero” and the song is awesome but this clip is NSFW which means “Not Safe For Work” so don’t be opening this up at the office or in school since there is a little bit of nudity involved. I think I’d steer clear of this one if you are under 18 years of age as well but that’s just me being older and occasionally responsible.

About The Video: The video shows a group of women awaiting some sort of important visitor for a gathering and when the ominous gent arrives for dinner of raw steak, wine and grapes (which are all fed to him) the admiration is in high gear. This is obviously Papa Emeritus II (the bands second lead singer) but he is not in his skull faced visage at the time). He leaves and the women disrobe so that’s the NSFW part and they transform into The Nameless Ghouls and he eventually into Papa II. There you go.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Since I’ve only seen Ghost on videos before thanks to YouTube.com I had to say that I was super curious about the clip. It’s a weird one and somewhat creepy with the interaction between the women and the Papa figure. The song has a very Satanic essence to it but that is pretty much the vibe of this band in the first place. I love the track and can say that some of the visuals are off-putting but that is probably exactly what Ghost wanted to leave you with. My hope is to catch them on the tour supporting this album so let’s see what happens. What did you readers think of this clip? Let me know in the comments below.
