If I promised that my quick summary of “Wake Up” would be my final of the single reviews for the latest album by the Black Veil Brides” then you have caught me in a little white lie. My plan was to get you a longer viewpoint of “Vale” but I’ve been running around prepping for this, that and the other thing and since there was another song unveiled as a single today I figured why not. Let’s give a quick thought about the bands sixth offering from the new album “Ballad Of The Lonely Hearts”.

This one starts off with piano, so I was expecting it to remain a true ballad but when the band starts to crunch it keeps up the heaviness pace throughout. Much like the other numbers that have been discussed, the guys succeed with the chorus as it’s a very catchy one. Some dramatic flourish envelopes the guitar solos before Biersack returns to incite the crowd with a rallying participatory closing chorus. Trust me you will be singing along just like I was. Having seen the band so many times in the live sense over the years I tend to listen to their songs with the mental sense of how will this one work in concert. The track itself is close to the end of the release so perhaps it will be the one that leads their show to the encores. Overall this was another favorite for me.

That’s going to be it for me with the presentation of single reviews from “Vale” and while I still need to get myself a copy, I will likely let the tracks that I am missing play through so I can toss a full review together. Of course, I don’t plan on repeating myself on the ones we’ve already discussed and will likely send you back to all of the shorter narratives from the longer review. I’ve mentioned that the band is currently on the road for their co-headlining tour with Asking Alexandria and since there are still a LOT of dates to see in numerous cities, please click HERE to see what’s left on the run.
