Cancellation announcements are pretty much the standard at the moment due to the continuing problems from the damned Coronavirus Pandemic and now this news from Finland’s own Amorphis who were planning on an exciting run of dates. Read on.
The Statement:
Dear fans in USA and Canada. Amorphis is sad to announce that due to the Covid-19 also our ”Tales From The Thousand Lakes” anniversary-tour is cancelled. We were optimistic to the very end but it looks like there’s not going to be any tours for quite a while now. However, the anniversary-tour will happen. A rescheduling of the tour dates is planned but obviously not set yet as nobody knows how long this pandemia is going to take. The most important thing now is to take care or each others and families. See you soon friends, we all are going to get through these hard times! For ticket refunds please contact your ticket provider.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Sigh. I guess I shouldn’t be all that surprised about events as far from now as September and October being cancelled but that is the state of affairs in the world right now. Good health, and personal safety are much more important than hanging out and rocking with bands we love. I was very much looking forward to this tour and planned on catching them in both Brooklyn and NJ with different groups of friends. Let’s keep hopeful for better times as soon as they are possible.
