Whew, so where to begin on this one. Okay, so last night “The Walking Dead” had its mid-season finale and though there have been times over the last couple of years where I found the show taxing, this last group of episodes was very good. Shortly after the episode aired, they broadcast the upcoming second half of the season’s trailer and we are here nice and early to share that with you. The show will return in February so hang in there as its not too long away when it comes down to it. In this post I’ve also repeated the overall premise and the large cast. Some of those folks might be uhm “gone” by the second half but I will not say anything. Dig in.

The Plot: Eighteen months after the defeat of Negan under an alliance of communities spearheaded by Rick Grimes, the season focuses on the united communities as they face obstacles and threats both outside and inside their alliance, with the threat of the mysterious Whisperers looming. (thanks Wiki).

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I have a strong feeling that this second half to come is going to be a lot better than I anticipated because we shall get more of The Whisperers who appear to be a whole new brand of nasty. As many know from the endless reporting on the series, this is the last season that both Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) and Lauren Cohen (Maggie Rhee) will be participating on and just in case you haven’t caught up yet, I will say that one of them is already “gone” but I am not saying which one. Only time will tell if the series continues to have legs with their absence and I think it might since its still so damn popular. While you wait, its not a bad idea to start watching “Fear The Walking Dead”. I’ve stated before that I hated this series first season early episodes but one week while just chilling I had given it another go and found it picked up steam and kept me entertained. It should be on one of the streaming services or On Demand at this point. Did you like this trailer? Are you still tuning in? Chime in down below. It’s always good to hear from you.
