Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum, those merry mates in Alestorm, Lords of the True Scottish Pirate Metal, will be returning to our shores in the Fall of this year. Check out the bands brief statement below and the dates and know that I will return to help guide you about this treasure trove of fun-filled Metal. They are calling this “The Super Smashed Turbo Tour” which is a really fun name for a run of shows.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Now as much as I enjoy being able to broadside the Metal Legions with me hearties in Alestorm for the sake of Metal, I don’t think I can make their regional show based on the countdown to NY Comic Con being on my plate. Those who’ve been reading our website for a while know just how consuming that event is for our side of the fence but don’t let me stop ye. Join your fellow landlubbers for a truly Metal mutiny before they set sail once more. There should be plenty of grog (if you are of age to imbibe it) and the songs of adventure will be at a high count. Nekrogoblikon is kind of interesting as well but I don’t know much about the first act so you’ll have to fil me in on them. What do you think of this touring announcement?
