Alesana Brings “The Decade Tour” To 2014

My apologies for getting this one to you dear readers a couple of days after it was first announced but since we like to enhance the Upcoming Tour postings with release links and some additional thoughts to the tour they sometimes take a day or three more to get you. That said, it seems as though the band Alesana will be embarking on what they call “The Decade Tour”; Here is the poster….

Tour - Alesana - 2014

The bands front man Shawn Milke shared this in the official tour press release “”Hello everyone! As many of you know we are planning on completing our trilogy very soon, but until then, we figured why wait to put out new music? We are proud to announce that we will be releasing an EP through our good friends at Artery Recordings entitled The Decade EP. In honor of Alesana having been a band for 10 years, we decided it was time to take a small break from our storytelling and write some songs about us and our experiences together as a band for the last decade: the good, the bad, the ugly, and the insane. For those of you curious about Annabel, have no fear, she will be back. But for now, let’s just crank some good old fashioned rock and f—ing roll!”

Now I will be honest and say that I have not yet focused on or covered any of the artists on this particular tour but since there is a date happening right in our backyard in the Big Red Shiny Apple, perhaps there is no time like the present.
