I guess its fair to view “7” as a lucky number when you are a Metal fan and you realize that Eddie Trunk and the VH1 Classic “That Metal Show” program will begin its seventh season this evening. As expected it will also feature his co-hosts since the first episode comedians Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine.

The show will continue with its one hour format and feature the guest guitarist each episode and even introduce a guest bassist this time around which I think is pretty cool. Can a guest drummer be far behind given Eddie’s relationship with Mike Portnoy? Only time will tell.
