Adam Ant will play his landmark “Friend or Foe” album in its entirety as well as classic chart-topping singles and personal favorites.

The “Friend or Foe” album was Adam’s first release as a solo artist and included three hit singles. The massive hit “Goody Two Shoes” reached #1 in the UK, was also #1 in Australia and hit #6 on the USA Billboard Chart.

“Friend or Foe”, the single, was another top ten hit in the UK while “Desperate But Not Serious” was the album’s third UK smash.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: It’s great to see Adam Ant still doing his thing and bringing his interesting music to the live stage for his most ardent fans. Though I’ve never seen him perform live, I first heard his music when I was back in high school thanks to one of those many album listening sessions that we used to do with friends. We knew one cat who had some of the more interesting stuff while the rest of us were just coming to grips with the likes of KISS and Van Halen. I still remember looking at the LP of “Kings Of The Wild Frontier” and wondering what the heck was it all going to be about and after a few listens found it a fascinating piece of music. I wouldn’t admit this to my Metal circle of course but it was the beginning of a true interest in some of the New Wave that was rising thanks to artists like Adam, Idol and so many others. I hope to catch the Beacon Theatre show if possible and as I close this up I wonder what you folks think about the tour. Chime in down below with that stuff and I will see you soon.
