Destruction in Concert (5/11/2011)

It’s been a couple of years since we have had the pleasure of the Metal company that is Germany’s Destruction in New York City but tonight with a brand new album under their belt, Schmier and company would return and play a gig at the Highline Ballroom.  The mood was intense and the atmosphere a crazy one.  Click the logo below to see the full on concert report and some photos on the main PiercingMetal.com website.

There is no real “marquee” for the shows that hit the Highline and while that displeases me in terms of something else to photograph, there was a cool tour poster that I have included below for your visual indulgence.

In my narrative I mentioned how the crowd was something impressive this evening in terms of movement and overall response to the band.  Here are a couple of shots of them during the all too brief lulls in the insanity.

Feeling brave?  I wasn’t…..Heh.

Destruction in Concert (4/2009)

Destruction are one of the true leaders in no holds barred Thrash Metal so it was great to find the German trio invading the stage B.B. King Blues Club tonight. The show would be my first time ever catching them in concert and that kind of gig is always exciting when its presenting something new to your eyes and ears. Destruction would be touring with both Krisiun and Mantic Ritual as their support so to learn more just click the logo below to be taken to our item on the main PiercingMetal.com site.
