It’s been great to watch a band as skilled as Opeth rising up the ranks of popularity and showcasing just how involved the genre can be from time to time. Tonight the band was doing a sold out show at Webster Hall and bringing along both Nevermore and Into Eternity as support. The union of Megadeth and Dream Theater on the same stage would be called “Gigantour” and this first go round festival styled event would also call upon Symphony X, Fear Factory, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Life Of Agony, Nevermore, Bobaflex and Drykill Logic to make it an experience not easily forgotten. I would adventure to Upstate NY around the Poughkeepsie way to catch this show at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center and travel with my good friends from the Sea Of Tranquility website.
