Twisted Sister/Stryper & Rock Of Ages Cast @ NYSE Holiday Tree Lighting 2009

At the beginning of the week I decked the halls with New York’s own Twisted Sister who had once again set out to deliver their “Twisted Christmas Holiday Extravaganza” and this festive hoedown too place at The Nokia Theatre in Times Square. We documented all the fun from that night HERE, and that evening’s happenings were part of the reason that we were on point for this special occasion down on Wall Street today.

Stryper in Concert (9/2009)

Stryper was in the middle of their 25th Anniversary tour and not only delivering their classics but also supporting their newest release Murder by Pride. The outstanding show would be at The Fillmore NY and while it would also feature a host of opening acts, we were only there to document and photograph the Stryper set. To learn our thoughts and enjoy the photos from the show just click their logo below to be taken to the article on the main PiercingMetal.com site.

A Piercing Discussion with Stryper’s Michael Sweet

Stryper were an MTV Staple back in their original heyday and have been spreading their message of Christianity in their Hard Rocking tunes for just over two decades now. The band had an official reunion tour to support their greatest hits package7: The Best of Stryper and the tour would find the band releasing their first ever live album Live in Puerto Rico. We had the chance to talk to Michael on the phone about these releases, the future of the band in terms of touring and recording and the whole conversation can be enjoyed by clicking the band’s logo below as it will take you to the article on the main PiercingMetal.com site.

Stryper in Concert (9/28/2005)

Even though I had only seen Stryper a few days ago, I took up the offer of a friend to trek out to Long Island to see them once again to see if there was anything different being offered the fans. I felt it would also be fun to see them in this great club as I had only been here once or twice before. To see the whole scoop, just click the bands logo below to be taken to my article on the main PiercingMetal.com site.

Stryper in Concert (9/24/2005)

The soldiers under command were back in NYC and doing a show at the cool venue space known as B.B. King Blues Club. The band was supporting their new album “Reborn” and I’ve always liked what they did. As a matter of fact, they were one of the first bands that I wrote a review about a couple of years ago, so they hold an important place in my music journalist heart. Check out the concert report and the photos by clicking the logo below as that will take you to the article on the main PiercingMetal.com site.
