Since the band was doing their very first headlining appearance in the city tonight, we couldn’t help but take a snap of the Gramercy Theatre’s marquee which was brightly lit up for all passersby to see and perhaps even spark a little Metal curiosity in.

“The Way Of The Fist” is an exciting Metal album from an equally exciting band called Five Finger Death Punch. The band has seen their own popularity rise over the last few months and was now bringing an energetic show to the Big Apple with special guest openers In This Moment and Bury Your Dead. Megadeth had been raising the bar for Metal with Gigantour for a couple of years now but yet with a new album breaking additional barrier for the band they decided to do an intimate show at the Fillmore NY. They brought along In This Moment and The Confession for the ride and we were present to document the night. Lacuna Coil was headlining a tour that was labeled as “The Hot Chicks Of Metal”, and each of the groups had a female lead vocalist leading their charge into Metal. The bands featured this evening were Stolen Babies, In This Moment, Within Temptation and Lacuna Coil and while we had seen both Coil and In This Moment before, it would be the first time seeing Stolen Babies and Withn Temptation. To my knowledge WT was making their very first NYC appearance tonight. Kittie was hitting NYC with their newest lineup and to make this a killer night had brought along some incredible opening bands. The cold from the streets of NYC were avoided inside the confines of the B.B. King Blues Club tonight as 36 Crazyfists, Dead To Fall, Walls Of Jericho and In This Moment helped make it all the more memorable a night.
