Welcome to the Heathenfest!!!

This was sure to be a good one as it found the wonderful Celtic Metal of Eluveitie taking the main stage with support from Austria’s Belphegor.  They called the event “Heathenfest” and it would bring together a few other cool bands who travel between the Folkish and the Darker realms by also delivering Vreid from Norway, Alestorm from Scotland and Kivimetsan Druidi from Finland.  Talk about getting your money’s worth on a ticket.   In the past we had seen three of the five acts performing tonight and based on this wanted to see the whole thing so we got there early enough to bring you the full scoop and present photos of everyone.  You can learn more by clicking the logo below as it will take you to the item on the main PiercingMetal.com site.

“Paganfest USA” was the title of this astounding tour that brought together four great Viking and Folk Metal bands for the first time on US shores. It was great to find the likes of Ensiferum, Turisas, Eluveitie and Tyr delivering their branded styles for a packed house at the venerated B.B.
