Children Of Bodom in Concert (10/2008)

Children Of Bodom alone is generally a show that is going to knock one’s senses out of commission but when you put them in a headlining space with Testament as direct support and kick the whole thing off by offering up both The Black Dahlia Murder and Between The Buried and Me as well, then you will completely lose your Metal Mind when it comes down to it. This show happened at the Hammerstein Ballroom and we were on point thanks to the intervention of one of our lovely members of the PiercingMetal Legions this time around. Photos and commentary about all of the performing bands can be found by clicking the logo below as that will take you to our item on the main PiercingMetal site.

Megadeth’s “Gigantour” in Concert (4/2008)

For the third year running, Dave Mustaine and Megadeth would headline “Gigantour”, a gathering of Metal super powers to say the least. This year’s go round featured In Flames, Children Of Bodom, Job For A Cowboy and High On Fire and should you be intrigued by that alone, please click the logo below to be brought to our article and photos on the main PiercingMetal.com site.

Children Of Bodom in Concert (12/2006)

Children Of Bodom are fast proving themselves to be a rising star for the Metal genre and each of their shows pulls out all of the stops in terms of excitement. Tonight the band would be back in NYC and bring along Viking warriors Amon Amarth and France’s Gojira. Check out our thoughts and images from this kick ass show by clicking the logo below. It will take you to the article on the main PiercingMetal.com site.

Speaking of stars, just take a look at some of the people wandering around the venue between sets.  That’s Reed St. Mark (former drummer of Celtic Frost) and Richard Christy (former drummer of Death and Iced Earth).  We were happy to get this shot of them together.

Slayer in Concert (6/2006)

Slayer had embarked on their “Unholy Alliance Tour” and it was a sick evening of Metal that brought the headlining Slayer together with Lamb Of God, Children Of Bodom, Mastodon and Thine Eyes Bleed. We were not taking photos tonight but a friend of ours loaned us a few. Click the logo below to be taken to our article on the main PiercingMetal.com site.

Children Of Bodom in Concert (12/14/2005)

I was really getting into what Children Of Bodom were doing in terms of Metal, so the chance to see them in action at such a venue and with such openers was going to be a treat. The band are superstars of Finnish Metal and making quite a bit of noise in terms of the attention being given them. Tonight they would land at NYC’s own Irving Plaza and bring along both Trivium and Amon Amarth as their support bands. Those two alone make the admission price value go up, but it would still be a really affordable ticket for the Metal fans to enjoy. I took plenty of photos of the three bands and they can all be enjoyed along with the full concert report by clicking the bands logo below. That will take you over to the main PiercingMetal.com site article.
