The Scoop: The band Nile has been on a destructive Metal path since their inception in 1993 and over the last few years their impact and influence has grown more than tenfold. The bands own Metal maturity also seems to grow with each consecutive release and with their latest album “At The Gate Of Sethu”, the band continues to impress. 2013 finds them embarking on a headlining tour and the NYC appearance will find the power of both Dark Empire and Winter Nights serving as support. Rumor has it that Nile will be performing two sets across this tour and thanks to the fine folks at B.B. King’s, some of the PiercingMetal readers will get into the show for free. Learn how below.
When and Where: Sunday March 10th 7pm at B.B. King Blues Club (247 West 42nd Street, NYC)
To Participate: Fans of the band are aware of how they have these super lengthy titles to their songs, for example “Permitting The Noble Dead To Descend To The Underworld” and “The Fiends Who Come To Steal The Magick Of The Deceased”; It’s pretty heavy stuff right? Well, how about you readers come up with two titles of your own that use this premise and under each you tell me what the tunes are about. Don’t be copying the bands own songs of course since I have Google and will be confirming the submission is legit. Be creative and impress me.
